Our mission is to support veterans every step of the way in accessing the benefits and resources they deserve for their commitment and sacrifice.

Veteran Burial Benefits

The veterans death benefits may help cover some of the burial and transportation costs associated with the deceased’s services.

How do I Apply?

You can conveniently apply online here, or choose to apply by mail once you have completed the required VA Form 21P-530.

What if I need help?

Our staff is dedicated to helping families complete benefit forms. For info, visit online here or call the VA office at 800-827-1000.

Who Qualifies?

  • A veteran who didn’t receive a dishonorable discharge
  • A service member who died while on active duty, active duty for training, or inactive duty for training
  • The spouse or minor child of a veteran, even if the veteran died first
  • In some cases, the unmarried adult dependent child of a veteran
