Zonia Madeline Ryniewicz (Cookie), 86, of Savanna IL., passed away on Friday March 1ST, 2019 in Rockford Mercy Health Hospital with loved ones by her side. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Law-Jones Funeral Home, Hanover. A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
Zonia was born July 17th, 1932. She grew up in the Gays Mills WI. Area, but lived most of her life in Hanover IL. Zonia married Daniel Ryniewicz June 17th, 1973. She worked at the Eaton plant in Hanover for a short time, then became a homemaker. Zonia enjoyed Fishing, playing cards, bingo, search words, and working on puzzles. She also enjoyed caring for and being around animals. Zonia was a very kind and warm-hearted person, always eager to offer advice or help in any way she could.
Zonia was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Ryniewicz, son Daniel Trumm, two daughters Marilyn (Roger) Rein and Marlene (Jim) Hall, Sister Florence “Darlene” (Larry) Pettera, Nephew Roger Pettera, and her parents.
She is survived by special son in law Jim Hall, Grandchildren: Michael Trumm, Karl Rein, Richard Hall, David Trumm, Clayton Trumm, and Brandon Trumm, 8 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and friends.
