Wylma was born September 6, 1931 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Albert and Anna (Buell) Todtz, the youngest of five children. She grew up in Lyons and attended local schools. Wylma had been married to Bud Miles until he passed away in the late 1960s. On May 26, 1972 Wylma married Frederick Colehour in Savanna. She was greeted with a ready-made family of four children, who were already young adults. Wylma and Fred resided in Mt. Carroll and celebrated twenty-four years together. Wylma also worked as treasurer for "Nest-Egg Investors" and volunteered at the Savanna Food pantry and Meals-On-Wheels in Mt. Carroll. She enjoyed traveling and going to auctions. In younger years, Wylma loved to bowl and golf, always enjoying when she would beat Fred. Wylma's family meant everything to her. If you were close to Wylma, you knew she was truly a kind and generous soul.
