William Jay Sullivan

William Jay Sullivan, age 67, died suddenly Sunday, November 16, 2008 at his home in Elizabeth. No services will be held. Memorials may be made in William’s memory to the Elizabeth Community Ambulance Service. 111 East Myrtle Street, P.O. Box 325, Elizabeth, Illinois 61028.
William was born July 19, 1941, the son of John William and Mary (Pollard) Sullivan in Savanna, Illinois. On September 12, 1964, William married Anne Schwirtz in Elizabeth. William owned and operated Sullivan Insurance Company for thirty-two years in Elizabeth.

William is survived by his wife, Anne of Elizabeth; a son, John (Sara) Sullivan of Elizabeth a daughter, Jennifer Sullivan of Elizabeth; two sisters, Sue (David) Wilbricht of Hanover and Kathleen Gross of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. His parents precede him in death.
