Savanna

William “Biff” Robert Suckling, 45, of Savanna, IL, went to the beautiful heavens on July 10th, 2026.

The memories of Biff will never go away and will remain cherished. He would do anything for someone, no matter what. He made you laugh when your days were dark. His smile would brighten a room in an instant. He loved sports and music, especially the 49ers and Tupac. He was an amazing baseball player and hoped one day to play for the SF Giants. His family was his world, just as his closest friends (who became family) will always be a part of our hearts. Billy’s wife, Dee, says this

“You are and will always be my everything. The pain of losing you has left us numb and heartbroken. As your wife, I remember the joy you brought into my life, the laughter we shared, and the love we exchanged. Your memory will live on in my heart, and I will continue to cherish the time we had together, but I also know you are now at peace. Though the road ahead will be difficult, I take comfort in knowing you will guide us from above. Your love will remain, and our son and I will feel your presence in the gentle breeze. We love you, miss you dearly, and will never forget you. Forever and always, your wife, RED. We love u always Billy Suckling.”

When you feel a gentle breeze, he is there. He will always be around. Please keep his memories and stories going so others know how wonderful this man is and will always be.

He is survived by his love of his life, Dee Suckling of Savanna; his son (who he was a devoted father to), Nate Suckling; his dad, Randy (Rita) Suckling, of Savanna; his mom, who was there (his aunt), Diane Griffith, of Mechicacville, IA; his siblings, Melanie Marken (Cody Meier) of Savanna; Josh (Jenn) Philpot of Davenport, IA; Paul Griffith and Jaymee Griffith, both of Mechicacville, IA; his beloved animals, Outlaw and Nala; many nephews, nieces, and cousins. He will be sadly and dearly missed but never forgotten.

He is now at peace with loved ones who welcomed him into Heaven, including his brother, Nate True; his grandparents; his mom (Aunt Diane); his brother-in-law (Mike); his mother-in-law, Kaye; his nephew, Eilajh; and so many more loved ones who were always dear to him at heart.

We will be celebrating life at a later date to remember his life and cherish every memory we can think of.
