William "Bill" Ralph King

William “Bill” Ralph King of Thomson, Illinois died October 17, 2020. William was born April 5, 1927, to Cecil and Florence (Kersch) King in Dubuque, Iowa. He attended high school in Clinton, Iowa.
For most of his life, William hauled milk and farmed in the Argo Fay/Thomson area. He enjoyed his tractor, 4-wheeler, and celebrating Labor Day with friends.
He is survived by three sons, two daughters, four grandchildren, and a sister, Laura Reckman. William is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, June and a son, Randy.
Our family would like to thank the neighbors, and a special thank you to Randy Durward and his family for everything they have done to help Bill over the years. Due to COVID-19, there will be no services.
