William “Beef” Daehler, age 49, of Chadwick, Illinois, died Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago, Illinois. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 22, 2013 at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Chadwick, with Pastor Chris Schoon officiating. Burial will take place at the Chadwick Cemetery, Chadwick. A visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., prior to the service at the church. Bill was born March 5, 1964, the son of Leon and Marilyn (Erdmier) Daehler in Morrison, Illinois. He attended Chadwick High School, graduating with the Class of 1983.
Bill worked at Larem’s Machine Shop, Chadwick, Tee Lee Popcorn, Shannon, Carroll Tiling Services, Chadwick, and Wahl Clipper Corporation, Sterling, Illinois. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, riding ATV’s, building turkey fryers, and spending time with his dog, Josie.
Bill will be dearly missed by his brother, Jeffrey Daehler of Chadwick, Illinois; sister, Connie (Kevin) Dimmick of Mt. Carroll, Illinois; three nephews, Kierstin, Kyler, and Koltin; one neice Kaileine; and his Jack Russell terrier, Josie. He is preceded in death by his father, Leon in 1995, and his mother, Marilyn in 2006.
