Wanda V. Strelow, 83, of Davenport, IA, passed away on July 24, 2024, at MercyOne Medical Center in Clinton, IA. A private family memorial will be held later in Butler, PA.
Born on July 29, 1940, in Butler, PA, to Frank Sr. and Leota (Wonderly) Black, Wanda moved to Davenport at 13. She graduated from Central High School in 1958 and worked at Davenport Bank, retiring after 46 years. Wanda was a lifelong Presbyterian. She loved spending time with family and baking, especially at Christmas .
Wanda is survived by her daughter, Shelly (Craig) Newcomb; granddaughter, Emily (Garrett) Mengler; great-granddaughter, Lainey; and brother, Donald Black. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Raymond, Robert, and Frank Jr.
