Virginia L. Heiserman

Virginia Lee Hodges Heiserman 73 of Miles, Iowa, passed away Sunday November 1, 2020 at Genesis Medical Center in Davenport, Iowa. A Celebration of Life will be held for Virginia in the Spring of 2021. Virginia was born March 13, 1947 in Manchester, Iowa. She married Duane Heiserman with whom she had three children Martin, Anna and Michael. They later divorced and she met her soul mate Jeffrey.

Virginia worked at Children's Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Local convenience stores in the community and a housekeeper for several years. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, and shopping. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mom/Gma had the gift of communication with each and everyone of her family members and anyone that would listen. Her family and friends loved her and will deeply miss the one on one time she gave to each of us.

Virginia is survived by one son Martin (Julie) Heiserman, Preston, Iowa. One daughter Anna Heiserman of Miles, Iowa. 6 grandchildren Joel (Brittany) Soll Miles, Iowa. Michelle Soll Miles, Iowa Lacie (Jason) Schuster Cedar Falls, Iowa. Joshua (Genna) Soll Clinton, Iowa.
Matthew Heiserman Bellevue, Iowa. Lucas Ashmore Miles, Iowa. 5 great grandchildren Cecelia, Eva, Atticus, Harper and Briar. Three brothers William (Brenda) Hodges of Center Point. John (Naomi) Hodges of Delhi, Iowa. Joseph (Angela) Hodges of Manchester, Iowa.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Dora a sister Mary, son Michael and her soul mate Jeffrey.
