Traci Ranchino was born on November 10, 1967, in Elgin, Illinois, to Louis and Karen (Johnson) Ranchino. From a young age, Traci faced significant challenges, struggling with a condition that made it difficult for her to nourish herself. Despite this obstacle, Traci maintained a loving and caring personality all throughout her life.
Traci's brothers, Michael and Bryan, were a constant source of support and joy in her life. She delighted in their visits, greeting them with open arms and a warm embrace. Traci cherished the time she spent with her family.
Throughout her schooling, Traci was recognized as a special needs student, but her teachers and classmates saw her kind heart and desire to be helpful. One of Traci's proudest moments was when her teacher, Mrs. Flack, entrusted her to watch over the classroom, a small gesture that filled her with immense joy and pride.
After graduating, Traci attended Job Corps in Denison, Iowa, where she learned valuable life skills and made some close friends. This experience, though challenging at times, represented Traci's independent spirit and her determination to live life on her own terms.
Despite the challenges she faced, Traci remained a loving and compassionate person, always concerned for the wellbeing of her family and friends.
Traci is now at peace, no longer burdened by pain or stress. She will be dearly missed by her devoted mother, Karen Ranchino of Savanna; two brothers, Michael (Brenda) Ranchino of Ft. Myers, Florida and Bryan (Mindy) Ranchino of Camanche, Iowa; and two nephews, Andrew and Adam Ranchino. She is preceded in death by her father, Louis “Lou” Ranchino in 2022; her maternal grandparents, Sherman (Muriel) Johnson; her uncle, Wendell Rice; and her aunt, Barbara Leonard.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 26th at 10:30 AM at Spring Lake Cemetery in Savanna to celebrate Traci's life. Though her passing leaves a void, Traci's memory will live on through the love and care she shared with those around her.
