Todd Douglas England, 55, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling, IL.
Todd was born in Savanna, IL. on November 13, 1966, to Floyd E. and Diana M. (Phillips) England. He graduated from Savanna High School and Northern Illinois University. Todd was especially close to his paternal grandmother, Virginia England, growing up.
Todd worked closely with his father throughout his career and was active in both banking and several independent business ventures. He had a deep love for the Savanna area and was always looking for ways to bring business to Carroll County.
Todd was an avid fan of British comedy and enjoyed Fantasy Baseball. Though he never married, Todd enjoyed spending time with friends and often got together to watch television on the weekends.
He is survived by his mother, Diana; an aunt and uncle Jack and Judy Phillips; close friends James (Patty) Correll, George Heffelfinger, and Brad (Lyuda) Niles: as well as several Godchildren.
Todd was preceded in death by his father, Floyd; paternal grandmother, Virginia England; uncle, Larry England; and close friend, Todd Hubble.
