Teresa was born on September, 20, 1952, to Wesley and Mary Bradley in Savanna. She attended St. John Catholic School in Savanna, before moving to Norfolk, Virginia where she was a 1970 graduate of Granby High School. After high school, Teresa received her training in cosmetology, with her sense of style, it came easy for her. After moving back to Illinois in 1979, she was employed at Alco in Savanna, Illinois until 1988, where she made a lot of new friends and reconnected with some old ones. In 1989, she moved to Freeport, Illinois and started her career at K.C Erikson Dental Laboratories, where she retired in 2016.
Teresa loved taking care of her family. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and friend. As her mother’s health declined, she and her brother became the primary care givers for their mother, where she got to know her in a different capacity. She enjoyed reading, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren. Teresa always enjoyed being with her family, whether it was cracking jokes with one of her brothers and sisters or cooking a huge meal, eating and laughing together. She was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. After being diagnosed with lymphoma, she never showed signs of defeat. She always kept a positive attitude. Her optimism and sense of humor will greatly be missed by everyone.
