Teresa L. Regan

Teresa L. Regan, age 58, of Elizabeth, Illinois died suddenly on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Rockford Memorial Hospital, Rockford, Illinois. A visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m., Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Law-Jones Funeral Home, Elizabeth. Cremation Rites will be accorded following the visitation. Burial will take place in the Elizabeth Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.

Teresa was born on March 27, 1959, the daughter of Richard and Barbara (Weede) Grabbe in Freeport, Illinois. She attended Elizabeth High School and graduated with the Class of 1977. She worked at Newell Manufacturing in Freeport, Illinois for twenty-eight years. After Newell Manufacturing closed, Teresa attended Highland Community College in Freeport. Teresa loved animals, and later worked as a farm hand for Haywire Farms in Galena, Illinois. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Dubuque, Iowa. Teresa enjoyed listening to audio books and reading books, especially fantasy novels. She also enjoyed staying connected with her friends and family through social media. Most of all, Teresa loved spending time with her family.

Teresa will be dearly missed by her two sons, Tim and Tom Regan of Elizabeth; one sister, Jo Marie Grabbe of Hanover, Illinois; and one brother, Richard (Lois) Grabbe of Clarks, Nebraska; two nieces, Cimberly Grabbe of Hanover and Marie (Jason) Prezeau of Manchester, Iowa; four great nephews, Devon, Zac, Logan, and Tanner Grabbe. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Mitchell.
