Tanya was born December 25, 1978, daughter of Curtis Stover and Sharon Smith. She was the oldest of five children, and grew up in Chicago, IL. She was the mother hen for her three sisters and one brother. In 1992 Tanya moved with her family to Hanover, IL. For a time, Tanya worked at the Hanover Cafe, where she acquired some of her cooking skills. In her spare time, Tanya liked watching her favorite shows and reading books. She was a great cook, and made especially good pot roast and lasagna. Her favorite colors were crimson red and turquoise. She wore her heart on her sleeve, and always let you knew how she was feeling.
At the center of Tanya’s life was her family. She loved to help out whenever someone asked. Tanya was a proud mother and grandmother. Her grandson was her pride and joy. Spending the day with her family was always what she wanted to do.
