Susan Morgan

Susan A. Morgan, age 71, of Mount Carroll, Illinois, passed away Monday, December 2nd, 2019 at Allure of Mount Carroll. A private graveside service will be held at Oakhill Cemetery in Mount Carroll.

Sue was born June 29th, 1948, the daughter of Clyde Jr. and Martha (Buckwalter) Morgan in San Francisco, California. As a child, Sue and her family moved to Mount Carroll. She attended Mount Carroll High School, graduating with the class of 1966. On October 3rd, 1970, Sue married Ronald Morgan in Mount Carroll. Sue worked in what was the Dura factory for most of her life, and also worked at the City Hall in Mount Carroll. She enjoyed reading and loved to watch Hallmark Christmas movies, but most of all Sue loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

Sue will be dearly missed by her two daughters, Reena (Ronald) Handel of Mount Carroll, and Brooke (Scott) Mechling of Lake Summerset, Illinois; four grandchildren, Devon Handel, Brady Handel, Kylie Mechling, and Alanna Mechling; and one brother, Michael (Susie) Morgan of Mount Carroll.

Sue is preceded in death by her husband Ronald, both of her parents, and by her sister Pat Ferris.
