Sherryl K. Zemke, age 58, of Hanover, Illinois, died Tuesday, February 12, 2008, at her home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, February 15th, at the Law – Jones Funeral Home in Savanna, Illinois. Pastor Rick Zickefoose of the Mount Carroll Church of God will officiate the service. Visitation will be held from 5 – 8 pm Thursday, February 14th, also a Law – Jones Funeral Home, Savanna, as well as for one hour prior to the services Friday. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society. Sherryl Kay Cain was born September 16, 1949, in Tipton, Indiana, the daughter of Robert and Julia (Stunkard) Cain. She graduated from Tipton High School. Sherryl worked with the elderly doing in – home care. Sherryl was married to Wayne Zemke on July 22, 1999, in Savanna. She enjoyed fishing and drawing, but her real passion was spending time with her grandchildren. Sherryl always had a smile and a hug for everyone she met. Sherryl will be dearly missed by her husband Wayne Zemke of Hanover; her son Darren Scott Decker of McRae, Arkansas; two daughters Tina (Dan) Bradley of Tipton, Indiana, and Debbie (Mark) Klein of Savanna; one step-son Art Zemke of Nashville, Tennessee; one step-daughter Suzanne (Brian) Wilkens of Nashville; eleven grandchildren; four brothers, Carl Cain of Indiana, Bill (Carol) Cain of Tennessee, Allen Cain of Indiana, and Harry Cain of Illinois; and two sisters, Ann Reeves of Florida, and Ray Kirk of Texas.Sherryl was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Bobby Ray Decker, one grandchild, three sisters and two brothers.
