Shawna Leigh Fritzenmeier

Shawna Leigh Fritzenmeier, age 38, of Savanna, went to live with the Heavenly Host on Friday, February 22, 2019 due to complications from pneumonia. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Law-Jones Funeral Home, Savanna. A memorial gathering will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established in Shawna’s memory.

Shawna was born on October 18, 1980 to James and Ruby (Byers) Fritzenmeier in Freeport, Illinois. She graduated from Parker High School in Janesville, Wisconsin with the Class of 1999.
Shawna worked for Burger King for a time. Then in 2001 after moving to Savanna, Illinois, she worked for Big Meadows Nursing Home as a laundry aide and housekeeper until her death.

Shawna is survived by her two sets of twins, Taven, Shianne, Brittney and Kimberly; two sisters, Amanda Fritzenmeier of Rockford, Illinois and Renee Fritzenmeier of Monroe, Wisconsin; her mother, Ruby and her stepfather, Herman North of Janesville. She leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends. Shawna is preceded in death by an infant son, Caleb; her life partner, William “Bill” Kuntz, and her father, James; one uncle, and her grandparents.
