Sharon Ann Myli

Sharon Ann Myli, age 62, of East Peoria, IL, formerly of Hanover, IL, passed away at Carle Health Hospital, in Peoria, on December 15, 2024. A memorial service will be scheduled in Elizabeth, IL, in the near future.

Sharon was born April 17, 1962, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Elton and Mary (Gusich) Smith. She married John Schuyler, and together they had two children, with five children in all, for Sharon.

In 1998, Sharon moved to Hanover, upon the suggestion from some family friends. She worked several factory, restaurant, and retail jobs over the years, and in 2008, she married Randall Myli, in Savanna. Shortly thereafter, Sharon and Randy moved to Peoria, where Randy was starting a new position with Caterpillar.

In her free time, Sharon enjoyed Hallmark movies and listening to old country/western music; but her favorite pastime was cooking, and she was quite good at it! She’d host friends and family for dinners, cookouts, and all sorts of fun get-togethers. She loved her family dearly; especially her grandkids and adored her many dogs and grand-dogs through the years. Seeing the people she loved enjoy her food while the grandkids played, and the dogs ran around the yard, was heaven on earth for Sharon.

Sharon will be dearly missed by her husband, Randy; children, Shannon (Michael) Bertucci, Tabitha (Robbie) Everett, Stacy Rehor, and Jeremy Rehor; eight grandchildren, Laura, Ryanne, Nathan, Christopher, Kiara, Jazmine, Joseph, and Giovanni; great grandchild, Ashtyn; niece, Melissa; and nephew, Joseph. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Elton and Mary; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harvey and Shirley Myli; daughter, Tanya Wills; grandson, Trevor; and sister, Karen Smith.
