Sharon Brightman

Sharon Brightman, age 61, of Chadwick, Illinois, died Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2008 at the Frank-Law-Jones Funeral Home, Chadwick, Illinois. Burial will be in the Chadwick Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Saturday, one hour prior to the service, at the Funeral Home. Memorials may be given in Sharon’s name for the American Diabetes foundation. Sharon was born October 2, 1946 in Morrison, Illinois, the daughter of Alex and Dorothy (Dial) Brightman. She graduated form the Chadwick High School with the Class of 1965.
Sharon worked 32 years for Microswitch/Honeywell in Freeport, Illinois, retiring in 2001. She then went out west to Arizona, and returned to Chadwick, Illinois in 2004. She was an avid Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears and NASCAR fan. She enjoyed eating out with friends and going to the movies. Sharon loved and adored her nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Sharon will be dearly missed by her father, Alex Brightman of Chadwick; three sisters, Sandi (Gerald) Foltz, Shirley Hadley and Jean Brightman, all of Chadwick; six nieces and nephews; five great nieces and great nephews; two cousins; an aunt; and five special friends, Cheryl, Gloria, Kathy, Connie, Karen and many others, too many to mention.
Sharon is preceded in death by her mother; two sisters, Jane and Judi; her maternal and paternal grandparents; a nephew; and an aunt.
