Ruby Jean Wright

Ruby Jean Wright passed from this life on Saturday, June 14th, 2025 at Highlight Healthcare Nursing Home in Morrison, IL. A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Law Jones Funeral Home, in Savanna, IL, at 11 a.m. Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., before the service. Burial will follow at Center Hill Cemetery, Mt. Carroll, IL.

Ruby was born on July 10th, 1949 to Harmon A. and Margarette E. (Trude) Yenney. The youngest of five siblings, Ruby was often full of life and always had a way of making those around her laugh. Despite living a small and quiet country life in Savanna area, Ruby quickly developed a larger than life personality. She was never afraid to strike up quick conversations or just sit and talk for hours with family and friends, especially if you brought her a delivery of Cheetos, Pepsi, and Icebreakers Gum!

She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother Harmon J. Yenney, three sisters Elenor (Yenney) Paisley, Margarete Yenney, and Clara Yenney, a nephew John Yenney, a great nephew Augustus Paisley, and a great-great nephew Mason Payne.

She is survived by two nephews, Charles Paisley Jr. (Teresa) of Morrison, IL and Harmon Paisley (Mindy) of Sandwich, IL; a niece Emily Paisley Onnen of Manila, AR; ten great nieces and nephews, Chris Yenney (Willie), Michele Yenney-Rannfeldt, Angela Von Thun (Brian), Jessica Pawlik, Mary Paisley, Christina Shaffer (Andrew), Andrew Paisley, James Onnen (MacKenzie), Benjamin Onnen (Jessica), and Megan Romero (Luis). She is remembered and loved by all those stated above as well as an additional twenty-five great-great nieces and nephews and a great-great-great niece and nephew.
