Rosina Linn Crotts

Rosina “Rosie” (Parker) Crotts passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at home in Savanna. Visitation will be held 4 - 7pm Sunday, September 20 at Law Jones Funeral Home, Savanna. Funeral services will be held 11 am Monday, September 21 at the funeral home.

Rosina was born August 2, 1958, in Savanna, the daughter of Edward and Rose (Grana) Parker. She grew up with 10 siblings including LaDeen, Sandy, Rusty, Sheila, Steve, Clay, Bonnie, Edward, Ruthie and Tina. She attended Savanna schools. Rosina married David Crotts, Jr in 1977. They raised four children, Kristy, Misty, Angela and David III. Her husband David passed away in 2001. In 2007 Rosina found her companion in life, Herb Wilkinson, and they have spent over 19 years together. Rosie and Herb shared many adventures, laughs, and trips.

Rosie was known for her big heart, quick wit, and boundless energy—rarely one to sit still, always ready to help, and always on the go.

A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Rosie’s greatest joy was her family. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Rosie worked hard throughout her life in roles that connected her to people and her community. She was a familiar friendly face at Sullivan’s Grocery, spent time at Argo Rubber, and worked in several restaurants, She especially loved greeting guests at Havencrest Castle, where her smile and warmth set the tone for visitors. She also embraced being a stay-at-home grandma for a stretch—something she counted among her life’s proudest chapters.

Rosie’s enjoyed crafting, canning, baking her famous bread and cinnamon rolls, making dumplings and meatballs, traveling to visit family, and joining Herb for trips—especially to casinos where she was an unabashed slot-machine fan. She loved celebrating life’s simple joys.

Rosina will be dearly missed by her children, Kristy (Justin) Kingdon, Misty (Robert) Wernick, Angela (Brian) Mills and David (Melissa) Crotts; her companion Herb Wilkinson; her grandchildren, Jordan, Alexis, Damon, Mason, Robert, Chad, Michele, Nick, Griffin, Audrey, Logan, Ryleigh and Jerimiah; her great grandchildren, Nathan, Luka, Noah, Cam, Hudson, Kaileigh, Shelby, Connor and Oakleigh. She is also survived by bonus children, Tom (Charlene) Wilkinson, Faron (Laura) Wilkinson, Dana Armstrong (Darren Foster) and Troy (Rhonda) Wilkinson; and bonus grandchildren, Tonia Blair, Travis Wilkinson, Tanner Wilkinson, Derek Koser, Madelyn Wilkinson, Garrett Wilkinson, Abigail Wilkinson, Samantha Mitchell, Jonathon Armstrong, Jessica Carson, Jacob Armstrong, Megan Dionne, and Devin Wilkinson, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

She is preceded in death by her late husband, David Crotts Jr.; her siblings Tina, Ruthie, Steve, and Rusty; her parents; and a granddaughter Drew Robichaud.
