Rosemary Joan Misek

Rosemary Joan Misek, age 66, of the Gordon Jones Group Home, Lanark, Illinois, died Monday, July 24, 2006 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center, Rockford, Illinois. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 28, 2006 at Frank-Law- Jones Funeral Home, Mt. Carroll with Father Moises Apostol officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Park, Freeport, Illinois. Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service. Memorials may be given in Rosemary’s name for Gordon Jones Group Home, Lanark, Illinois.
Rosemary was born January 9, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Joseph Frank and Mary Ann (Hovorka) Misek.
Rose was raised on a dairy farm in rural Mt. Carroll, she lived most of her life with her parents. For the past fifteen years she has lived with the residents of Gordon Jones Group Home, Lanark, Illinois, they became her second family. She was loved and given wonderful care.
Rosemary will be survived by her sister Anne (Orland) Gates of Mt. Carroll, one brother Jerry (Marge) Misek of Elizabeth, Illinois; and several Aunts and Uncles; several nieces and nephews.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her father, Joseph in 1990 and her mother, Mary in 2001; and an infant brother, Joseph.
