Ronald "Ron" Ulesich

Ronald "Ron" J. Ulesich, age 75, of Lake Carroll, Illinois, previously of Rolling Meadows, Illinois passed away Friday, October 10, 2014 in Algonquin, Illinois. A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at the Frank-Law-Jones Funeral Home, Mt. Carroll. A Memorial Gathering will be held one hour prior to the service from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Ron was born June 22, 1939 in Chicago, the son of Joseph and Anne (Lunka) Ulesich. He grew up as a young man on the family farm near Greenwood, Wisconsin. Ron is a 1957 graduate of the Greenwood High School. He attended the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire where he met his sweetheart, Jan. He also attended DeVry University and the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago. On July 30, 1960, Ron married Janet Millenkamp in Eau Claire. He and Jan celebrated fifty-four years of marriage.
Ron worked thirty-five years as an Engineer and Manager of Quality Control at Rauland, the Picture Tube Division of Zenith Electronics in Melrose Park, Illinois, retiring in 1995. He enjoyed watching his daughter's and grandchildren's activities, especially volleyball. Ron liked to golf, was an avid Packer fan, and loved spending time with his dog, Ernie.
Ron will be dearly missed by his wife, Jan of Lake Carroll; two daughters, Wendy (Bill) Chauncey of Union, Illinois and Sandy (Bob) Dion of Algonquin, Illinois; five grandchildren, Joelle and Judd Chauncey, Amy, Cameron and Ally Dion; a brother, Bob Ulesich and Barbara Horn of Loyal, Wisconsin; and a sister-in-law, Rita Ulesich of Menominee, Wisconsin. Ron was preceded in death by his brother, Jim, and both parents.
