Robin Lynn Carroll

Robin Lynn Carroll, age 53, of Savanna, Illinois passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015 at the University of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City, after a brief illness. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Savanna. Burial will be in the Savanna Township Cemetery, Savanna. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. A memorial fund has been established.
Robin was born November 2, 1961 in Savanna, the daughter of Walter "Red" and Kathleen (Avery) Klein. She attended Savanna Schools. Robin married Anthony "Tony" Green, they divorced and continued to be close friends.
Robin loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, they were her life. She also enjoyed watching NASCAR Racing, camping and being on the river. She worked many years as a Bartender at the Savanna VFW Club.
Robin will be dearly missed by a son, Anthony Green of Savanna; a daughter, Rachael Green of Savanna four grandchildren, Anthony, Lucas, Garrett and Billy; one brother, Robert (Stacie) Klein of Savanna; and two sisters, Vicky (Ron) Bumphrey of Savanna and Betsy (Marty) Kinder of Savanna. Robin is preceded in death by both parents.
