Robert F. Bossier

Robert F. Bossier, 75, of Thomson, Illinois, formerly of Chicago, died Saturday, November 19, 2005 at Mercy Medical Center - South Campus in Clinton, Iowa. A Memorial Visitation will be held 4:00 to 8:00pm. Tuesday, November 22, 2005at the Law Jones Funeral Home, Thomson, Illinois.
Robert was born on April 10, 1930, in Chicago, IL, the son of Frederick R. and Marie M (Jursa) Bossier. Robert married Barbara J. Barker in 1952 in Chicago, Illinois; she died in 2003. Robert was a United States Army Veteran, Serving with the 101st Airborne Division in the Korean War. He was self-employed as a carpenter for most of his life, retiring in 1995. Robert was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his daughter, Terri L. (Michael) DiBartolo of Chicago, IL; sons, Robert E. Bossier of Chicago, IL; Mark R. Bossier of Chicago, IL; James F. (Colleen) Bossier of Cary, IL; Ronald J. Bossier of Crystal Lake, IL; and Thomas E. Bossier of Roselle, IL;and six grandchildren. In addition to his wife; his parents, two brothers and one sister preceded him in death. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
