Rita Bull

Rita Marlene Bull, 84, of Savanna, Illinois, died Thursday, March 12, 2015, on our first spring day surrounded by her loving family, at Big Meadows Nursing Home.
Rita was born August 2, 1930, the daughter of Otto and Helen (Graham) Wolfe in Savanna. She graduated from Savanna Schools in 1948. Rita married Ronald (Bud) Bull on January 20, 1951 in Savanna, Illinois. They celebrated sixty-four years of marriage.
Rita was a devoted wife, homemaker, and mother to her six children. She enjoyed nothing more than going to her children and grandchildren’s sports events and school activities. She always looked forward to traveling with her family and friends on many vacations; especially during her retirement years with Bud and their special retired friends.
Rita will be missed by her husband, Bud, her five children, Kathy (Lou) Bull, of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, Rhonda (Marv) Cass of Solon, Iowa, Paula Losch of Savanna, Illinois, Ronald (Martha) Bull II of Thomson, Illinois, Tom Bull of Pearl City, Illinois, and daughter in-law, Joy Bull of Springfield, Illinois; 12 grandchildren, Jessica (Trevor) Volz, Justin Bull, Kelsey Bull, Melissa Bull, Evan Bull, Tommy Losch, Timmy Losch, Blake Burbach-Bull, Tessie Cass, Christopher Cass, Lexie Cass, and Nicholas Cass, and 3 great grandchildren , Khyla, Addalyn, Briella and her first great grandson due this Spring, and 1 sister, Norma –Jeannie Larsen of Kenosha, Wisconsin.
She also was preceded in death by both parents, 1 son Donnie in 2003, 1brother, Charles Wolfe, 3 sisters, Marjorie Mattie, Nina Lindquist, her twin sister Ruth Dahlke, and one grandson, David Cass.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Savanna. Burial will be in the Lower York Cemetery, Thomson. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2015 at the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Savanna.
