Ricki Sander

Ricki Sander, age 57 of Sabula, Iowa passed away at home. Cremation rites will be accorded.
Ricki was born July 15, 1954, the son of Wayne John and Joyce Marie (Smith) Sander in Clinton, Iowa. He attended Patrick Henry High School in San Diego, California and graduated with the Class of 1972. Ricki worked as a sewing machine mechanic for ten years. He then went to work as an over the road truck driver for twenty-eight years, driving for several companies.
Ricki was an accomplished guitar player and enjoyed teaching young people how to play. He loved spending time on the river and socializing with people on the “G” Dock. Ricki was very compassionate and generous with people less fortunate than him. Ricki will be missed by many friends and family members.
Ricki is survived by his father, Wayne (Fabienne) Sander of San Diego, California; one brother, Randi (Manuela) Sander of Savanna, Illinois; one nephew, Dane Kadow of Savanna; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Ricki is preceded in death by his mother, Joyce in 1976; grandparents, John (Gladys) Sander, James (Bernice) Smith.
