Richard B. McIntyre, age 69, of Elizabeth, Illinois, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2011, at home. According to his wishes, Richard will be cremated and no services will be held at this time.
Richard was born August 20, 1941, in Galena, Illinois, the son of Berner and Vera “Sally” (Winckler) McIntyre. He was born in his grandparents home. Richard attended Hanover, Illinois, Schools until the eighth grade, and graduated from Elizabeth High School with the Class of 1959. He worked as a manager for Ozark Airlines in Chicago, Illinois, for twenty eight years. Richard was a dedicated Chicago Cubs fan, and enjoyed the time he spent with his friends. Richard was the light of his mothers life and will be dearly missed.Richard is survived and lovingly remembered by his mother, Vera “Sally” Ehrler of Elizabeth, Illinois. Richard was preceded in death by his grandparents and his step – father, Marion Ehrler.
