Richard "Rich" Irving Holmquist

Richard (Rich) Irving Holmquist was born 07/14/1964 in Scottsdale AZ to Richard and Rosecella Holmquist. He passed away Sunday April 26th at his home in Savanna, IL at the age of 55 after a lengthy hard fought battle with his health. Throughout it all keeping his quick wit and infectious smile. He served 6 years in the Navy. He ran his own construction company and was known to others as “Mr. Fixit”. He is now free to return to his passion for fishing with his beloved dog Blue by his side.

Rich is survived and will be remembered in our hearts by his wife Deb. His children Kim (Steve) Maika and Amber Hettinger. His grandchildren Jordan Woods and Alliana Hettinger. His father Richard Holmquist. His sister Laurie (Derek) Powell. His nephew Joe (Melissa) Mcnamara and his niece Heather Mcnamara. He is preceded in death by his mother Rosecella (Sally) Holmquist. Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burial will be in a family plot in Taylor Falls, Minnesota.
