Raelynn “Bug” Link, beloved baby daughter to Mother Haylee Hovis and Father Scott Link was giggly, smart and vocal at the age of one. Once she could stand, she rarely sat down, and walked at the age of eleven months. Raelynn (1), Haylee (22), Scott (26), and their expectant baby to be born, all were sadly taken from us on Saturday morning, January 16, 2016 as the result of a single vehicle accident near Hanover, Illinois. A memorial gathering will be held from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Savanna. Memorials may be given in their memory.
Raelynn was born January 5, 2015 in Freeport, Illinois, the daughter of Scott Link and Halylee Hovis. She had a spirited personality and loved to be vocal. Raelynn was active, always moving, standing and enjoying her new-found ability to walk. She had just learned to say “Mommy.”
Raelynn leaves this world alongside her parents, Scott Link and Haylee Hovis, and an expectant sibling to be born. She will be dearly missed by her sister, Kaylee Link, grandparents, Julie Hovis of Savanna, Bobbi Link of Savanna and Chris Link of Wapapello, Missouri; four aunts, Courtnee Worden (fiancé Garrett Eberle) of Savanna and Laycee Hovis (Companion Chris Antilla) of Port Huron, Michigan, Kristy Link of Savanna and Sherri (Chris) Hulan of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; one uncle, Kevin Hovis (companion Breiann Hatt) of Savanna; eight cousins, Corry, Gunner, Kohen, Kaylee, Aminah, Samara, Austin and Levi; three great-grandmothers, Diane Powell of Port Huron, Michigan, Paulette Ensey of Savanna, and Janie Link of Gulfport, Mississippi.
