Pedro Isaac Crespo-Alvelo, known to his family as “Pinueve,” passed away in Chicago at the age of 48. His charisma made him easy to love, and he brought warmth wherever he went. The affectionate nickname “Pinueve” was given by his mother, inspired by a little elf from a commercial, a fitting tribute to his playful spirit.
Born on April 28, 1976, in Bayamon, Puerto Rico to Martin Crespo Perez and Narda Alvelo Cruz, Pedro was known for his vibrant smile, captivating hazel eyes, and passion for life. He found joy in weightlifting, dancing, cooking, and working in construction. Pedro had an impeccable sense of style, always dressing to a T. He was a devoted son, and every time he spoke to his stepfather, Sammy, he would end the call with, “Thank you, Papa, for taking care of Mama.”
Pedro’s memory will be cherished by his mother and stepfather, Narda Alvelo and Samuel Santana; his brother, Martin Gerald; his sisters, Nardita, Marta J. (Luis) Ochoa, and Marie del Sol; along with his beloved nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and many friends. His family fondly shares, “We will always remember him and love him forever.”
The family invites you to join in celebrating Pedro’s life on Sunday from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Bridges, 417 Main Street, in downtown Savanna.
