Paul M. Lass

Paul M. Lass, age 51, of Maquoketa, Iowa, formerly of Preston, Iowa, died Sunday, January 15, 2012, at the Jackson County Hospital, Maquoketa. Cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 20, 2012, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Preston, with Rev. Gregory Geier officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Preston Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service on Friday, January 20.
Paul was born October 19, 1960, in Dewitt, Iowa, the son of Arlan Wayne and Betty (Peterman) Lass. He attended Preston Schools.
Paul is survived and lovingly remembered by his mother, Betty Lass of Preston, Iowa; one brother, Dennis Lass of Spragueville, Iowa; three sisters, Gwen (Mark) Entsminger of Hinsdale, Illinois, Barbara Rosenbohm of Parkersburg, West Virginia, and Christy Scheffert of Edwardsburg, Michigan; two aunts, Ruth Ann Van Meter and Joan Lass of Dewitt, Iowa; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Paul was preceded in death by his father, Arlan Wayne Lass; and one brother, David Lass.
