Patty J. Bright

Patty J. Bright, age 73, of Pontiac, Illinois, formerly of Savanna, Illinois, died Saturday, January 21 at St James Medical Center, Pontiac. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at Savanna Township Cemetery, Savanna. Pastor Mike Meyer of the Savanna Bible Church will officiate. Patty was born May 12, 1932 in Guttenburg, Iowa, the daughter of Oliver and Ruth (Johnson) Rodenberg. She worked in Drafting at the Savanna Army Depot from 1965 to 1994.
Family was most important to Patty. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Patty also enjoyed working in the yard around her home.
She will be dearly missed by her son, Steven Bright of Pontiac, Illinois; two daughters, Debra Sipe of Dubuque, Iowa and Julie (John) Handel of Thomson, Illinois; and a brother, Oliver Rodenberg of Davenport, Iowa; nine grandchildren and one great grandson .
Patty is preceded in death by a son, Daniel Bright and both parents.
