Patricia "Pat" Helle

Patricia “Pat” Lou Helle, age 71, of Mt. Carroll, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. Cremation rites will be accorded.
Pat was born August 14, 1943 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the daughter of Carl and Marie (Shannon) Syndram. She attended Fort Wayne Schools. Pat married Joe Helle on July 1, 1983 in Savanna, Illinois. Pat worked as a CNA at Big Meadows Nursing Home and later decided to do private in home care.
Pat was a past member of the Women of the Moose in Savanna. She had a passion for music whether singing or playing her guitar. Pat was a member of the Mooney Hollow Band. Most of all, Pat loved her grandkids!
Pat will be dearly missed by her husband, Joe; her children, Dave (Cheryl) Syndram of Port Richey, Florida, Victor (Shelley) Preston of Savanna, Vincent Preston of Fort Wayne, Indiana, James Preston of Fort Wayne; many grandchildren, a brother, Dave (Pat) Syndram of Fort Wayne and a sister, Becky (Gary Sr.) Pilling of Fort Wayne. Pat is preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Frances Rice, Carol Nelson, Naomi Pilling.
