Mildred C Andrew., age 86, of Savanna, Illinois, died Sunday, March 12, 2006, at Mercy Medical Center North in Clinton, Iowa. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 16, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Savanna, Illinois. Father Moises Apostol of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church will officiate. Interment will take place at St. John The Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Savanna, Illinois. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until service time Thursday, March 16, 2006 at the Law-Jones Funeral Home in Savanna. Mildred was born August 27, 1919 in Manson, Iowa, the daughter of Clinton and Caroline (Miller) Johnson. During her working career, she worked for the Eaton Corporation in Hanover, Illinois, retiring in 1980. Her many interests included her love of flowers, gardening, and her love of animals, especially her pet dog and cat. Mildred also enjoyed playing bingo and going to the gambling boat with friends. She was a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge in Savanna, Illinois. Mildred will be deeply missed by her daughter Sherry Ernst and son, Darry (Rita) Andrew of Savanna, Illinois; six grandchildren, two-step great grandsons and seventeen great grandchildren. Mildred is preceded in death by her parents, one brother Dale Johnson, and sister in law Dorothy, one nephew James Johnson and a son in law James Ernst
