Michelle M. (Harris) Themas, age 55, of Sabula, Iowa, passed away September 30, 2015, at Jackson County Regional Care Center, Maquoketa, Iowa. Cremation rites will be accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Michelle was born June 13, 1960, the daughter of Richard and June (Marquis) Harris in Newark, Ohio. She attended Newark High School. On March 17, 2001, Michelle married Robert Themas in Green Island, Iowa.
Michelle worked and Managed at the Hop and Shop in Sabula and managed Poopy’s retail shop in Savanna, Illinois, for many years. She was a member of the Sabula Calvary Lutheran Church. Michelle's favorite holiday was Christmas. She enjoyed cooking and having her family over to celebrate. She also enjoyed swimming in her Pool, Michelle loved Mickey Mouse and Collecting keepsakes over the years. She especially enjoyed Baking with her GrandDaughter Brycee. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Michelle was very giving and always went above and beyond for everyone. Michelle was happiest when she spent time with her best friend-her husband Bob.
Michelle is survived by her husband, Robert of Sabula; five children, Samantha (Jeff) Stahl of Roseville, Michigan, Steve Hank of Maui, Hawaii, Matt (Amanda) Hank of Thomson, Illinois, Mark (Anna) Themas of Fulton, Illinois; Gina (Duane) Smith of Clinton, Iowa; nine grandchildren; Mairah, Brycee, Aidan, Kye, Rowin, Tyler, Lily, Jakob, and Beckett, brother, Rick (Sheila) Harris of Newark, Ohio; and a sister, Denise (Chuck) Whitt of Newark, Ohio. Michelle was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and June; her Aunt Trudy and Uncle Chris and her grandparents.
