Michelle Fredericks was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, and Friend. At the age of 54, Michelle passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 at home after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born May 13, 1966 in Chicago, the daughter of David and Judith Aileen (Cunningham) Stancy. She was a caring and generous friend. Michelle loved cooking and baking for family events, especially her famous lasagna. She also adored her Pugs and liked fishing at the Frog Pond near Savanna.
Michelle will be dearly missed by her husband, Steve Fredericks of Savanna; two children, Jamie (Mary) Murnane of Los Angeles, California and Aiden (Jessica) Letcher of Dubuque, Iowa; five grandchildren, Dylan, Izabel, Violet, Lukas, and Noah; her father, David Stancy of Savanna; and her brother, Michael (Mary) Stancy of Cortland, Illinois. Michelle is preceded in death by her mother, Judith Woosley.
