Michael John Iscoll

Michael John Driscoll, age 32, of Preston, Iowa, died Monday, June 20, 2011. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2011, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Preston. Burial will follow at Preston, Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2011, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Preston. A Memorial Fund has been established in Michael’s name. Michael was born March 16, 1979, in Clinton, Iowa, the son of John “Jack” and Deanna (Wiebers) Driscoll. Michael attended school at Preston. On October 15, 2005, he married Josey Bauer in Maquoketa, Iowa.
He was a truck driver for the last four and a half years and he worked for Kinney Farms in Dewitt, Iowa.
Michael loved his sons, stock car racing, rebuilding race cars and semi trucks, and fishing. He was a perfectionist at everything he did. He had many racing friends and friends at ADM, where he hauled grain.
Michael is survived by his wife, Josey of Preston; two sons, Jarrett Michael, and Talan Michael of Preston; his parents, Jack and Deanna Driscoll of Preston; a brother, Brendan Driscoll of Preston; a sister, Valerie (Shawn) Rathje of Bryant, Iowa; a brother-in-law, Shey (Sarah) Bauer of Spragueville, Iowa, two nieces Jayden and Jara; five nephews, Jaren, Jace, Liam, Landon and Logan; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Michael is preceded in death by all of his grandparents.
