Michael "Chopper" E. Hage

Michael “Chopper” E. Hage age 50 of Savanna, Illinois went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday October 25, 2015 at home with his family and special friends by his side. A Memorial service will be held at Law-Jones Funeral Home in Savanna, IL on November 7, 2015 at 2:00 pm.
Mike was born March 28, 1965 in Aurora, Illinois, the son of Joel E. and Joyce R. (Greenacre) Hage of Yorkville, Illinois. Mike grew up on the family farm outside Yorkville until he married his first wife Kimberly York-Kingman of Morris, Illinois and they had 5 daughters.
Mike worked for different truck companies in the Yorkville and Naperville area as a truck driver, until he moved to Savanna in 2004 with his children. He started his own trucking company and worked for himself hauling for local businesses until 2015 when he went to work for Martin & Co. Trucking of Bryon, Illinois.
Mike enjoyed spending time with his daughters and enjoying the hours watching his grandchildren grow. He loved to go up North to fish and then travel around to visit his family in numerous states. You never knew when he would pop in. When he could he would like to go out and ride to enjoy the freedom of the road on his favorite Harley. He also loved during his off time to visit with his many close friends. He loved cooking and enjoyed making new food creations.
Michael will be dearly missed by his wife Sharyn Lind of Beloit, WI; his daughters Heather (John) Delgado of San Antonio, TX, Samone Hage of Freeport, IL, Jessica (Beto) Diaz of Elgin, IL, Brittany Hage of Morris, IL and Jamie (Josh) Pearson of Herscher, IL. His sisters and brother Rhonda Olin of Trinidad, CO., Joel (Renate) Hage of Serena, IL, Shelly (Mike) Geers of Garrettsville, OH., and Missy (Eric) Hoffstetler of Bristol, IL. His Grandchildren Billy Green, Marquis and Shia Hage, Charmela Tinoco and Becente Diaz, and Brooklyn Pearson. and step daughter Devin (Tony) Lind-Chamberlin and step-grandson, Austyn Lind and two step granddaghters, Ezra and Avryl Chamberlin of Babbitt, MN and several nieces and nephews.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, a brother-in-law Bill Olin and his Uncle Mark Hage.
