Mary E. Zissler-Lloyd, age 86, of Rockford, Illinois, formerly of Mount Carroll, Illinois, died Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at St. Anthony’s Hospital, Rockford, Illinois. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at the Frank-Law-Jones Funeral Home, Mt. Carroll. Burial will take place at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Mt. Carroll.

Mary was born December 3, 1919 in Mt. Carroll, Illinois, the daughter of Emory and Ida "Lizzie" (Frey) Longnecker. On February 6, 1941, Mary married Warner Zissler in Clinton, Iowa.
Mary enjoyed being a homemaker, she also spent time working in home healthcare. She loved crocheting, sewing, cooking and baking.
Mary will be deeply missed by her five sons, Ronald (Rosemary) Zissler of Pecatonica, Illinois, Warner (Kim) Zissler of Mt. Carroll, Robert Zissler of Pecatonica, Gary (Brenda) Zissler of Rockford, and Larry Zissler of Rockford; four daughters, Shirley Alley of Sacramento, California, Mary Jane McGrath of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Judith Bickelhaupt of Covina, California and Sharon (Kevin) McCoy of Rockford; and her grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Pearl Gums; and a sister in-law, Helen Longnecker both of Mt. Carroll.
Mary was preceded in death by her, husband, Warner; two brothers, Charles Wolfe and William Longnecker; one sister, Effie Finkenbinder.
