Mary Beyer, age 86, of Mt. Carroll Illinois, passed away on June 18, 2006 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Mt. Carroll. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 23, 2006 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Mt. Carroll, Illinois. Pastor Floyd West of Pastoral Care at Good Samaritan Nursing Home will officiate. Memorials may be given to the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Mary’s memory.
Mary was born on September 18, 1919 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Edward and Janet (Geary) Thomson. She married Edward Beyer in September 1954, in Chicago. Mary worked as a nurse, taking care of others at home, for over fifty years. Mary’s hobbies included crewel work, crafts, and collecting plates. She also enjoyed traveling.
Mary is survived by two sisters; Janet Hammang of Mesa, Arizona, Isabel Luschen of Scottsdale, Arizona; and four nieces.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Edward and one brother, Edward.
