Martha S. Miller

Martha S. Miller, 71, of Mt Carroll IL passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Saturday, December 14, 2024, following an 8 year battle with cancer.

She was born on February 25, 1953 to the late Sam and Sara (Yoder) Gingerich in Middlefield OH. On May 15, 1975 she married Norman Miller who survives. Martha was a member of the Mt Carroll Christian Brotherhood.

In addition to her beloved husband Norman, she is survived by her children: Maria (Wayne) Mullet, Mt Carroll IL, Amy (Michael) Yoder, Roodhouse IL, Rosina (Reuben) Eicher, Fredonia KY, Julia (Ethan) Stutzman, Advance MO, Emily (Norman) Eicher, Belvidere TN, Darin (Christina) Miller, Boone IA, Anita (Lavern) Stutzman, Cuba MO, 34 Grandchildren , 4 Great Grandchildren.

Siblings: Alfred (Martha) Gingerich, Manton MI, Roman (Esther) Gingerich, Windsor MO, Wilma (Walter) Miller, Minerva OH, Enos (Joanna) Gingerich, Rose Hill VA, Mary (David) Gingerich, Summertown TN, Betty (Harry) Gingerich, Martinsburg OH, Alta (Galen) Beachy, Summertown TN, Jim (Ada Mae) Gingerich, Burkesville KY, Janey Gingerich Summertown TN and Sister-in-law Marianna Gingerich, Strawberry AR.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by granddaughter Lily Yoder and a brother Samuel Gingerich.

Visitation and Funeral services will be held at the Mt Carroll Christian Brotherhood Church 14100 Loran Rd Mt Carroll IL 61053

Lord Willing visitation will be on Tuesday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. and funeral services on Wednesday December 18, 2024 at 10 a.m. Interment is in the adjoining church cemetery.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to the church, neighbors and friends for their prayers, support and many deeds of kindness in the past weeks.
