Mark was born July 7, 1952, in Terre Haute, IN, the son of James and Ruth (Morris) Wilbur. He attended school in Elgin, IL. After graduating high school, Mark eventually made his way to Sacramento, CA, where he devoted 30 years of service to Sacramento County, as a warehouse supervisor.
Mark was a gifted musician who found joy in most instruments, but loved most, the guitar, keyboard, and harmonica. Music was always at the center of Mark’s life. He played in multiple bands in his younger years, and in fact, it was during one of these performances that he attracted his wife-to-be, Sharron Kelley Musgrove. She fell for the cutie on stage, and the two have been together since 1986, ultimately marrying on August 9, 1995.
Mark will be forever remembered as a truly good guy with an enormous heart. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Sharron; step daughter, Ruby Sinnott, of Sacramento, CA; three grandchildren, Colin, Cody, and Caleb; sisters, Sherry Conley, of Savanna, IL, and Dianne Mathews, Reeds Spring, MO; and cousins, Kim Newton and Carla Jones. Mark is preceded in death by his parents, James and Ruth.
