Maggie Sullivan Cairo

Maggie Sullivan Cairo passed away quietly at Mercy Health Javon Bea Hospital in Rockton, early February 14th. The former Hollywood actress of Television and Motion Pictures moved to Savanna from Chicago in 1992 with her husband Industrial Show Producer/Director Al Cairo.

In the mid-nineties, Maggie, won Savanna the Illinois Main street Association award for “Best Promotion” with her own characterization and performance of “Molly Main Street.”

In 1999, Maggie and Al broke ground and built “The Nest at Palisades Cabins.” Over the years they’ve played hosts to thousands of guests from all over the country. Maggie was 71.
