Lynnann Shaw, age 73, of Savanna, Illinois, passed away Friday, September 15, 2017 at Freeport Memorial Hospital in Freeport, Illinois. Lynnann had always wanted to be able to help people and she will be able to help even in death by donating her body to science.
Lynnann was born on November 16, 1943 in Freeport, the daughter of Jack Rhea and Blanche Kraft. She attended Freeport High School. Lynnann worked for Eaton Corp. in Savanna, Micro Switch in Freeport, the Savanna VFW, D & M Lounge, Green’s Tap, Schroeders Bar and Grill in Savanna. Lynnann took pride in being a homemaker and taking care of her family.
Lynnann was a member of the Moose Lodge #1095 in Savanna. She loved camping, Lynnann spent 12 years at the Timberlake Campgrounds rural Mt. Carroll till the closed. She then moved to Seven Eagles Campground, rural Savanna which she called home for the past twenty years.
Lynnann is survived by her children, Kim (Keith) Schneider of Chadwick, Illinois, Sandra Lynn Wurster of Savanna, Illinois, Billy Pritchard of Ozark, Alabama, Renee (Tony Hebeler) Pritchard of Savanna; eight grandchildren, Ashleigh Kloepping, David (Amy) Schneider, Justin (Fiancé Bree Rose) Schneider, Dawson Wurster, Owen Wurster, Gage Pritchard, Amos Pritchard, Jesse Pritchard; four great-grandchildren, Olivia, Greyson Jared, Cassidy, Nora; two brothers, Larry (Janice) Rhea of Freeport, Jimmy Rhea of Freeport. Lynnann was preceded in death by a son, Donald Schasker; mother, Blanche Rhea; brother, Ronald Brubaker and a sister in-law, Ruth Rhea.
