Lyle Ertmer

Lyle Edward Ertmer, age 82, of Hanover, Illinois passed away, Friday, January 7, 2022 at home. Burial ashes will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Hanover at a future date.
Lyle was born May 28, 1939, the son of Edward and Dorothy (Musselman) Ertmer. He graduated from Stockton High School. In 1967, Lyle married Mary Catherine Schetler, she passed away in 1990.
Lyle worked several years for Kelley Springfield in Freeport and earlier the Railroad repair shop in Clinton, Iowa. Most recently he delivered Golden Meals in the Hanover area. He enjoyed watching old westerns on TV.
Lyle is survived by two sons, Shawn and Arron Ertmer, both of Hanover. He is preceded in death by his wife and both parents.
