Lucille A. Paul, age 82, of Mount Carroll, Illinois, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2006 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Mt.Carroll. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2006 the Frank-Law Jones Funeral Home, Mt. Carroll. Reverend Robert Schubert of Center Hill United Brethren Church Mt. Carroll, will officiate. Burial will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery, Mt. Carroll. Friends may call from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral. In honor of Lucille memorials may be made to the Mt. Carroll Good Samaritan Nursing Home.
Lucille was born July 8, 1923, the daughter of Richard and Martha (Gast) Beckenkeller in rural Carroll County, Illinois. On February 5, 1946, Lucille married Robert M. Paul, he passed away on July 20, 2004.
Lucille enjoyed being a homemaker and helping Robert on the farm. She spent many hours stamping and creating beautiful cards and crocheting. Lucille loved animals, especially her cats.
Lucille will be deeply missed by several cousins and many friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert and one sister, Grace Hartman.
