Louis G. Tietjens

Louis G Tietjens, 76, of Clermont, Florida passed away peacefully at home on November 27, 2019. Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM with funeral services at 12:00, Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Law-Jones Funeral Home, Preston. Burial will follow at the Miles Cemetery.

Lou was born November 14, 1943, son of Gilbert and Mae Marie Tietjens in Clinton, IA. He Attended Miles High School graduating Class of 1961. He then enlisted in the US Air Force and was stationed in Germany. He attended Clinton Community College and Computer Programming Institute. Lou spent 39 years developing financial banking software giving him the opportunity to travel internationally.

Lou was married to Mary Kuhl for 54 years. Has two children Valerie (Jermaine) Thibodeaux, Bloomington, Ill. and son Paul Tietjens, Clermont, Fl; two grandchildren Miles and Jaxson Thibodeaux; brothers Steve (Darlene) Tietjens, Sabula and Tom (Ronda) Tietjens, Teeds Grove; two sisters Lois (Richard) Fedderson, Andover and Marcia (Gene) Camp, Preston.
