Louis Lopeparo, age 64, of Mt. Carroll, Illinois passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at Freeport Memorial Hospital in Freeport, Illinois. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 30, 2007 at the Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, Illinois.
Louis was born on September 29, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. Louis served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Louis married Janet Harris in Chicago, Illinois. Janet passed away in 2004.
Louis lived in Chicago and moved to Carroll County in 1980. He worked for the railroad as a Chauffer and provided services to passengers. Louis also worked at Rolling Hills in Lanark, Illinois and worked for a while hauling freight. Louis enjoyed fishing and traveling, but most of all he loved his dog “Sparky”.
Louis is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Janet.
