Lorraine “Lori” M. Bailey, 63, of Galesburg, formerly of Savanna, died Saturday, April 13 at Carroll County Good Samaritan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Mount Carroll.
Lori was born Oct. 6, 1949 in Savanna, the daughter of Ralph and Frances (Diehl) Bailey. She worked as a truck driver for many years and loved to travel. Lori was a huge music lover, especially Elvis Presley, the Beatles and her beloved Michael Jackson. When not on the truck she enjoyed riding her motorcycle.
Survivors include three brothers, Ralph (Ruby) Bailey of Fairview Heights, Ill., Jerry (Kim) Bailey of Holmes Beach, Fla. and Jim (Judy) Bailey of Savanna; and five sisters, Carolyn (Bob) Ostrander of Manchester, Iowa, Mary (Frank) Townsend of Hanover, Norma (Roy) Williams of Mt. View, Mo., Ruth (Larry) Neuendorf of Aurora and Linda (Bob) Malmquist of Auburn, Ga. and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Herb Bailey.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a private burial will take place in Savanna Township Cemetery at a later date.
